Well you and Wrikki are an AWESOME team too.You forgot Wrikki.....![]()
Many have said to air down your tires to about 37. Mine fluctuate between 42-44 but I’m about to get new shoes on anyways so I’ll live with it a bit longer. The handling is a bit loose.... Alignment is the first thing to tighten up.
First thing to do before I leave today is get those dealer plate frames off & get the Steelers Nation Unite one on the front.![]()
I’m going to be putting in a Dallas Cowboys toll tag.
Luke Congrats on your new Wrangler, looking good. Many have said to air down your tires to about 37. Mine fluctuate between 42-44 but I’m about to get new shoes on anyways so I’ll live with it a bit longer.

Thanks Greg! Like Lydia said, I’m still getting used to how it drives. It’s about the same length and width of my Mustang but of course rides much higher and looser steering.Luke Congrats on your new Wrangler, looking good.
That made me laugh too. I got the sense of genuine affection for this crazy vehicle from the reviewer.Just love this from the Car and Driver review of the 2dr manual:
That’s not too shabby for a high-riding all-terrain vehicle with a shape just slightly more aerodynamic than that of the average commercial dishwasher.
Too funny.
Understand, use caution, until you feel used to it, and during the break in period. Thanks Greg! Like Lydia said, I’m still getting used to how it drives. It’s about the same length and width of my Mustang but of course rides much higher and looser steering.
The real question is...did your new baby sleep through the night without waking up screaming and crying? :D
I wonder if the steering feeling is cuz you both are new to Wrangler? I have not noticed anything loose about mine. Thanks Greg! Like Lydia said, I’m still getting used to how it drives. It’s about the same length and width of my Mustang but of course rides much higher and looser steering.
Speaking of which, that 8 speed is simply amazing! I read that your supposed to baby the engine under 3,000 rpm for the first 500 Miles and it hardly ever reaches that point accelerating normally. I wonder how quick it’ll be with a hard acceleration! Plus the way it engine brakes is nice meaning less wear and tear on the actual brakesUnderstand, use caution, until you feel used to it, and during the break in period.

In your case, just the driver.I wonder if the steering feeling is cuz you both are new to Wrangler? I have not noticed anything loose about mine.
Im doing 0 - 60 in about 7 sec. and that's with 35's on itSpeaking of which, that 8 speed is simply amazing!
