Cargo trailer for camping

Tomorrow morning we are headed out to our isolated beach camping Oasis. Last time did it in my Tacoma, traded for a Jeep and bought a 5x8 cargo trailer (this way we're always packed). Didn't have time to mod the suspension/wheels/tires on the trailer yet. If I had to guess what it weighs....empty it's 900 lbs, so maybe 6-700 pounds of gear. Two big expedition tents, water for 5 people for 4 days, two packed coolers, off road and recovery gear, etc adds up. Total= 15-1600 pounds. Going to tow in the sand and see how it goes on the beach. Either way, well we enjoying our labor day weekend.

We had a great camping trip. Jeep towed 5 hours each way and on the beach with no issue. Probably got around 13/14 mpg towing. No hiccups on the beach, even in the soft stuff and turns.

And....

A Jeep isn't great because of the places it takes you, it's great because of the memories made along the journey.
