I'm looking for a good way to travel with my 2 Golden Retrievers while still being able to let the soft top down, remove the windows, and remove the doors (or roll the windows down).
I have a 4-Door JLU and I want to leave the entire cargo area available for them with the seats down.

Dirty Dog has a netting kit that covers the rear and the rear sides but the not the back doors/windows.

They also have a solution for the divider behind the front seats.

Does any know what the best way to net the rear side doors so I can either have the windows down or remove the doors?

Tanner, please don't take this the wrong way, but I can't, in good conscience suggest to you a remedy because I'm of the believe you should not need one if your sole purpose is to help keep animals from spilling out of the rig.

To point, man's best friend deserves to wear a harness designed for car travel, not simply a collar, itself clipped into something in the rig that can resist the forces of an unintended short stop on your part. Whether that's a safety belt in the back seat, or a tie down in the cargo area if you have the back seats down--I'll leave that up to you.

This isn't to say that I don't appreciate the love dogs have for the freedom to move around the cabin, check open windows, smells and sights.

It's why I came up with the Jeep Bar[kery] because I was trying to maximize the animal's rig freedom without compromising safety.

If you want to sell me on the idea that the cargo netting keeps your dogs away from attacking/attack at times when the rig is motionless I get that and maybe a DIY net from Harbor Freight might do the trick https://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?dir=asc&order=EAScore,f,EAFeatured+Weight,f,Sale+Rank,f&q=cargo+net but only as a way to keep the animals inside and outside protected from each other when the rig's stopped.

I haven't been able to find anything either that was made to cover the back and side open areas when the top is off. I picked up the Mopar pet barrier and I am waiting on my order of this: https://www.canvasback.com/index.php/jeep-wrangler-jl-4-dr-cargo-liners-14401.html

all I need is the cargo netting so I can take the side and back windows off of the soft top
You will need access to the 2 tie downs on the cargo floor in order to effectively use the Mopar pet barrier. You will likely need to cut holes in the canvasback to secure the pet barrier. Even at that, the pet barrier is somewhat loose and definitely only meant to keep your furry loved one from sitting on your lap while you are driving. I used my Mopar pet barrier for the first time today and while it's easy to set up, my 93 lb lab tried his usual Houdini act. Had my wife not been in the backseat, he may have succeeded.

I'm going to use 2 leashes and a harness, 1 on each side of the cargo area. Adjust it so they can't get out of the jeep.

Would this work? https://www.extremeterrain.com/dirtydog-4x4-netting-3pc-kit-rear-black-jk-dd-n-jk4-07r-blk.html Someone reported in another thread that it fits the JL as well.
