We cut around the subwoofer with a utility knife then I gently smoothed it with a dremel.
We just made a small slice and pushed the mat over the 4 hooks.

Sorry, this is the 4-door model so no cut outs needed. Looking at the picture of the 2-door model, it doesn’t have a cut out and doesn’t appear to have a provision for one.
