Found these on Amazon and EBay. There abs pieces with a carbon fiber look that attach with 3m.

I ordered some but don't like carbon fiber so painted them black. They are expensive for what you get - faster delivery if buy from US distributor - cheaper but long delivery time if ordered from China.

Thanks! That's not painted though. Those are plastic trim overlays, just like the CF trim bits. Way easier than taking the dash apart and painting it.

Do you not have concerns with the overlay on the passenger side impating the airbag performance?

Not really. The overlay is thin plastic stuck on top the original panel with double-sided tape.

Not so concerned with stopping it but more so fact it could shatter or just become a projectile as airbag deploys

As far as I know, the airbag doesn't deploy through the OEM panel; the panel flips up or down like in most cars.
