Cant get my wiper blades off

I have the original wiper blades on my Jeep and can't seem to remove them. I've pressed in the tab and when I try to get them out it feels like I am going to break something. Is there a trick to this?

I had the same problem. The trick is patience and persistence. They come off very easily when you have the correct angle. YouTube is helpful.

There is an outer cover that seemed to be keeping the wiper blades from coming off
