Canada Order Guide: 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL (2-door) and JLU (4-door) Combined

Well I didn't expect much more from local dealers. There quote comes in at MRSP. I have attached it. My first question is, Federal A/C Excise Tax, is that Destination? If so they want $1895 and order guide lists it at $1795. I also did not ask for Body-colour freedom top. Anyone notice anything else wrong on my quote, except that they think I'm an idiot and will pay MSRP on an ordered Jeep.

The A/C tax is legitimate and applies to all new vehicles sold in Canada. I think it has to do with refrigerant recycling. Otherwise the quote looks fine other than approaching $60,000 for a Jeep... that build should be $52-53,500 if they want your business.

That’s what “Easy Order” on the list means. I’m just shocked it’s free and they don’t charge $895 for it like everything else.

This is why I want the configurator before I do any ordering. I just want to make sure they aren't playing around with the MSRP or any of the options.

For you guys to more easily compare, here are a bunch of options I had already punched into my Google spreadsheet from the order guide at the beginning of this thread. You can copy and paste these into your own sheet if you want and then get your program to sum it all up and give you the all in price. I went to the extreme and had mine calculate payments with taxes and trade automatically. Or if you're not the type to have spreadsheets printed out on your bedsheets... you can just manually compare lol. Since this is from my own calculations there will be the odd thing missing that I wasn't interested in getting.

You are not, and don't! If you had to, Order from Ontario and either drive back, or have it shipped.
A quick google found this: https://www.mvscanada.ca/toronto-vehicle-shipping/ I'm sure there are lots more options. You'll save over $5,000 based on actual placed orders here in Ontario. (A bunch of us are using Erin Jeep).

Upon a second look, yeah they have the destination wrong. Should be $1795 and the excise tax is already accounted for on its own line.

Spotted my first JL here out in the wild in Alberta just outside of Edmonton. Was going the opposite way on the highway and almost mistook it for a JK and then saw the fender lights which gave it away.

Saw another JL on the road today and passed by a local dealership and they had 5 parked in the lot, but no Rubis.

I think we're about to see a tsunami of them on the streets soon.

I was playing with a rubi today with a soft top. Gotta say I'm pretty impressed so far by it. Super easy to put on and off, and did anyone mention no zippers? Gotta admit I'm not gonna miss the zippers. The JL rubi is fuckin sweet. Can't wait to get mine.
