Can you use the Freedom tops with the Hard top removed?

I'm considering taking my hard top off for a month. But I want some shade still. Can you run with the Freedom tops on and the hard top off? I don't want to launch them at some unsuspecting driver on the interstate

Yes you can. They latch independently and will stay in and keep you in the shade.

Get the Alien Sun Shade. Like mentioned you can leave it on. I like it.

3 out of 4 latch points are independent of the hard top. The outside back latch point on each side is on the hardtop itself.

Nope....the 4th latch point is definitely on the hard top.

Sounds like mixed thoughts- take off the back, get on the highway, accelerate to road speeds and let us all know if it goes flying off or stays connected - then we’ll all know
