Can you remove or deactivate the rear bumper park sensors permanently?

Can you remove or deactivate the rear bumper park sensors permanently? I have a 392 on order. Wanting to throw the stock bumper in the trash and just run a frame cross member bumper only. Thanks!

I’ve honestly never tried it because I don’t have a reason or desire to, but there’s an option in the settings to turn it off, I don’t think that it’s an every time thing.

But if you remove the bumper that’s got the sensors in it altogether, how could they possibly work?

Trying to avoid turning it off every time you start the vehicle or throwing and error code/ warning light because the sensors are no longer there. Not an option I need or want for any reason, but it is standard on the 392.

i have backup sensors and after swapping rear bumpers I never used them again. If you turn it off via button on dash it will stay off. I do get a warning screen on startup but no error or anything else.

It is not an every time deal. It remembers. Just hit the button once and you are good. Had to deactivate mine because they don’t work with LOD bumpers.
