Can Tazer be moved to other vehicles?

I unmarried my Tazer from the JL and used it with my JT and there was not an issue. Can I unmarry it from the JT and use it on the DT (2019+ Ram 1500s)?? Will it automatically work or do I need ZAutomotive to change the firmware?

It most likely will not work as is with your Ram. Contact them.

Just following up on this thread. Doing same thing with my 2019 Jeep Tazer to a 2019 Dodge DT(new) truck.,.,..any luck with this???

I guess I should have updated this. I bought my Tazer for my JL. I then used it on a 2020 DT. Then to a 2021 JT. Now I'm using it on a 2022 DT. So yes you can move it around. You do need to download the firmware for the vehicle you intent to use it on and flash that to the Tazer first. Be advised that DT trucks with UConnect 5 do not play well with firmware versions newer than 18.1.6. They are working on fixing this.
