I will be putting a 3.5" lift on my new diesel. The lift requires <4.5" backspacing. I will have 37" Cooper STT pros on Icon wheels. All good there.

I am thinking I want a 2nd set of wheels with AT tires for longer trips, overlanding vs wheeling so my Muds don't get worn out and for better mileage and comfort.

With hub centric adapters can I get away with the Stock Rubicon Wheels with 37" tires with my suspension that requires <4.5" backspacing?

A 1.75" adapter should do the trick. Get a good brand, like Synergy, Bora, or Spidertrax. Some shops won't mount 37X12.5-17 on the stock wheels because they are only 7.5" wide, so just make sure you already know a shop that will.

Thanks, I've seen that issue with 37s. Maybe I stick with 35s for less weight anyway. Is the 7.5" an issue because of less stability in the tire?

I have 37/12.5/17's on stock rubi wheels, no spacers needed. No rubbing at full lock, no rubbing at full flex with a 2.5" readylift (3" rear bumpstops).
