Can anyone tell me what this button is for?

I have looked through the manual, tried adjusting this dial and notice no difference anywhere. Someone mentioned its the interior lights but that would be the dial to the right of it so I ask, what does this do??

It's the ambient light control. for Sport/Sport S it controls a small ambient light in door handle. for Sahara/Rubicon, it controls door ambient handle light and footwell ambient lighting.

I'll have to check the door handle light, mine did nothing for the floor lighting.

I think it adjusts the footwell lights. You have to wait till night time. A full moon is no good either.

For the leg/footwell lighting. Noticed it within my 19 MOAB as well.
