I had an extra bolt for holding on the rear wiper motor cover. It was rattling around inside the cover whenever I would open the glass. It looks sort of like that one.

No JL yet but on my JK these are the bolts. Top/left attaches soft top mechanism to rollbar bracket. Bottom/right attaches said bracket to rollbar. I am betting this is that bolt for you. Do you have your top all attached already?

Off topic, but do you have any info on the top bracket screw? Just this morning found myself in need of one.

That looks like the bolt in the roll bar used for the Mopar grab handles. Look on the top of the roll cage inside above the doors, front and rear.

I stripped the threads in one.

I've been able to find similar, but the thread pitch is wrong. Lowes, Home Depot, auto stores, even the local Fastenal. Everything I find is M6 x 1mm, and the OEM bolt is at least 1.25 or 1.5. I could make the other work, but want to try to find the correct one first.

I'l be checking with Bestop and (gulp) the dealer tomorrow.

Not sure if you found the answer or even care at this point but it looks like the screw that attaches the subwoofer enclosure (at the top left) to the metal “liner” of the cargo area. It’s appears to be used in many different disparate applications.
