Ride quality will suffer, on road handling will be better. It's still a solid axle, high center of gravity, jeep on 35's so it won't be a sports car by any means. The wagon wheels look terrible on a jeep in my opinion. I'm old school when it comes to off road, the tire should be at least twice the size of the rim. Our 2019 jlur with the 2.0t has no problem turning the 37's with the factory 4.10 gears, will hold freeway speed without issue, even in Utah over passes with the cruise control set at 85mph. If you do any driving at altitude you definitely want the turbo.

Hey guys! Newbie here I got a question about the 2.0 4cyl being able to handle upgraded;

22x12 Fuel Blitz Rims
35x12.50R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires
2.5in Rough Country Lift Kit

Would that be a bad idea? Bad ride? Or should I just do the 6cyl? Thanks everyone!!
A 22” rim on a 20” tire isn’t going to work. Are you looking at the Fuel Blitz’s in 20” size or did you really mean 22”?

Just ignore him - the forums are much more enjoyable if you do.
I do. I'm just trying to make sure the new members are able to come to their own educated conclusions instead of just taking the tried & true statements as fact.

18 Rubi 2.0 8 speed auto. 37-12.5-17 on 2.5 lift. Avg 19 mpg and is still peppy.

Had 35x12.50 Falken AT3's installed a couple weeks ago (along with a 2.5" RC lift) and while gas milage has suffered (getting 17mpg now vs 21.5 before) the Jeep handles great. Lots of pickup from the turbo and it cruises nicely on the highway. I'm considering a catch can for the reasons in the video above but also just in general due to the direct injection. I have a 2020 Sahara Unlimited 2.0 with the 8 speed and I did notice the shift points were off right after the tires were installed. Used JSCAN to set the right tire diameter and now it shifts where it should. Without the updated tire diameter I definitely had some situations where I was at very low RPM and it seemed to bog a bit, but just a bit more pedal and it would shift down right away.

My 19 JLUR with the 2.0/8-speed combo and factory 4.10's has only slightly noticed the 4.25" lift and 38x13.50's. Rides and handles amazingly.
