if you are removing hood insulation to install a decal on the top i think you'r doing it backwards...I've heard that it is recommended to be ready with a package of replacement pop clips for the hood insulation panel. Inevitably, some will break during removal and it's nice to be able to wrap up a project without things left flopping about.
Ha. You have to remove the windshield washer nozzles.if you are removing hood insulation to install a decal on the top i think you'r doing it backwards...

I actually read these threads, unlike many others. It's why my count of started threads is so low.if you are removing hood insulation to install a decal on the top i think you'r doing it backwards...
my mistake . sarcasm was lost on that one.I actually read these threads, unlike many others. It's why my count of started threads is so low.
i considered one of these to help with glare but I decided against it. I am relatively tall and initially had to duck my head to watch some traffic lights. Now I frequently watch the reflection of the light on my hood. Lazy, I know, but it is the reason why I haven’t installed what the OP has.Go for it!
Actually it is also very practical when you are wheeling on sunny days.

Looks good. Nice jobAnd done. Install was actually super easy. Sunny day helps. Lining it up wasn’t even that bad. Didn’t break any hood liner clips. All in all, easy project.
not 100% sure how I feel about it yet. Gonna let it grow on me.
