What trailer is that or is it a custom one? Looks pretty nice. How does the vertical adjustment of the tent mount work?
Which camper are you asking about? The Jeep Extreme Trailer Rated Camper? If so, the top folds out. The top turns into a queen sized bed. The base is a living area with a futon, a table that is placed and a door. The tent folds out and has three support hoops with two horizontal bars that apply pressure.

I built the trailer myself! For the cage, I basically built a cage that the tent mounts to and it slides into square tubing at all four corners. It's held in place by pins in either the raised or lowered position. I have gas springs on all corners to help with lifting.

Been through it all. Tents, slide in truck camper, class C motorhome, and on our second class A. Approaching retirement, I love the mobile base camp. Lucky to live in the PNW with trails everywhere. Camp setup is easy. Push 3 buttons. 😁

Retired.
It has been a minute since I last posted here. This is my setup. At least the external pictures. I lived out of this Jeep for roughly a year and a half before I decided to use some of that sweet GI Bill money. Once my class graduates on August 20th, I will be living out of it again until my next course starts in December. After that class graduates, I plan on living out of it for another six months before I call it a day. Being retired has its advantages.

Most nights, I slept in the tent, and Rusty usually slept inside the Jeep. I ripped out the back seat for him and put in some Goose Gear floors, which turned the back of the Jeep into his home.

I also have a fridge, a shelf in the back, and the obligatory fold-down tailgate table. The side privacy walls were seldom used since the places I generally stayed were off the beaten path, but my awning was used about 70% of the time. I didn't use the awning if I expected snow or high winds. Thanks to Elon, I was always with internet, although I came close a few times when I couldn't solar back up the Jackery due to weather. The Jackery could keep the fridge going for about 5 days without a recharge. Regarding power priorities, the refrigerator always won unless I was up in Montana during the winter or early spring.

You weren't too specifc about what type of camping you are planning.

This camping rig has been making it easier for me. Air conditioning, satellite TV, large frigerator, comfy bed, inside toilet, full size shower, etc. Two large solar panels to keep everything charged; Onan generator if that isn't enough. Throw the Jeep on a trailer behind the camper to get to where you want to go 4-wheeling. Then return to the camper at the end of the day.

Loved our Artic Fox. We eventually landed on the set up below. It’s more like driving around in your house to find a place to jeep. Not really “camping”, but it is a great way to be comfortably explore the country.

chance you can share some photos of the inside?
Finally, the infamous ambulance! No pics of the inside????
Probably not the best photo, but this is the view from the cab doorway (it is a "step through". I left paramedic chair as a place to sit, more comfortable than I imagined. The fridge is on the floor right next to it on the bottom right. Bunk style bed up top (mattress is a bouldering crash pad), bicycles down below. All the original cabinets were retained on the right. I use one as a pantry, one has all the cooking supplies (camping stove, dishes, etc). Another is for clothes, and one for all my shoes, helmets, and other running/cycling gear. I use the (not visible) stretcher area for shovels and folding chairs. I have a toolbox with enough hand tools to get me out of most repairs I'll run into. A generator that I can pull out if I need to either charge up the starter battery, or more likely run a heater (or block heater, if the glow plugs fail...learned that the hard way). Oxygen storage cabinet has a few more tools, fluids (coolant, oil, etc), spare tire, etc. Storage wise I have plenty of space left, but I'm trying to be mindful of the weight.
