Buying an used Uconnect

Has anyone bought an Uconnect 7 or 8,4 that another owner was selling? I am thinking about buying one from a guy, but I am worried about it being sync'd to my Jeep and if I will still be able to turn on and off the Aux buttons from the radio.

It will. You might need an anti theft code from the owner.

I have and have been burned by someone on this forum who sold me the wrong part number. My biggest piece of advice would be to verify you will get an anti-theft code AND verify the part number. -- Make them send you a picture of the part number. Specifically for the 8.4 you need part number 68295725AH for the 8.4 if you want navigation and siriusxm to work.
