Might be a stupid thing to ask,but why not.lol....
Hello, wondering if anybody would be nice enough to measure the distance between your front bumpstop and you axle housing on a bone stock JLUD? Specify if yours is a Rubi,Sahara,Sport. etc...
The reason I'm asking is I didn't purchased my JLUD new and it's seems pretty high for a stock looking suspension, and others are saying the same thing.I don't see anything out of the ordinary about the suspension.Looks OEM to me.
I have 2.75" of clearance on mine and it's a Sahara.
The order sheet is showing ZCBP and ZRBP front springs.
It has the ADH trailer tow pkg.
SDUS Heavy Duty suspension w/gas shocks option.
I recently installed high top fender flares and 285/75/18 which is around 35" tall. From the ground to the fender flares, I have 40".I know this measurment is no good because of different flares and tire size.
I heard most stock diesels the bumpstop distance is low and would give a rougher ride, but as you can see, this one has almost 3" and as far as I know,it drives OK. Jeep is fairly level too.
We do alot of performance & 4x4 stuff at the shop. As far as I know,no other JLUD around here to compare.Wanted to do some upgrades on this Jeep too,but damn it drives and handles pretty good as it is now, might just put some disconnects and maybe longer travel shocks and will see what it will do.
