I installed this bracket a few months ago. Their instructions say to discard the filler panel that you remove. I wanted to replace it. It was fairly easy to measure and slot the panel to fit around the brackets.

Good to know, especially in a snow region.

I failed to mention in my initial response that the distance between the brackets and grill are close enough that you have to remove the brackets to remove the grill. I discovered that when I went to change headlights. That is not a big deal, as the bracket mounts easily but if you are running wires, etc it is easier do do that first.

I did not buy their light bar.....it was a "higher shelf" item than I needed.

I made my own brackets which mimicked the DD bracket then bought a lower tier bar from amazon. Turned out great. However, if I had to do it again I would just spring for the DD brackets.

Do you have any pictures of your installation? This is on my project list
