Selling my old BP mounting base, phone mount, camera mount AND the new design BP base.
The old mount driver side ball has a small wiggle (you can swap with the passenger side). There is slight wear from use. The new base is a replacement sent by BP that I did not use b/c it has a few very light scuffs, more than the first base sent (see photos).

I just noticed that they updated their RubiGrid. Wonder why they went to a two piece design? They must have made the change right after I ordered from them. Wonder why they changed ?.

I wondered the same. The new 2 piece fits the dash much better and covers the screws that go into the dash (OEM spots). It also expands into those side gaps on the old design. They also added 3M adhesive to the bottom of the base but I didn’t peel the film back b/c I don’t want it that permanent.
