So, I also had the front side windows tinted, and now I am waiting for the Ace Tire Carrier and Ace rear bumper to come in. The first real off-roading trail run is coming soon also. I have been waiting for snowmobiling season to get over. Snowmobilers only get a couple good months of trails riding here in Michigan, So out of respect, I have held off as the official snowmobiling season ends March 31. April 6th, will be the first of mansy adventures in the Mistress. Also on Sunday, it warmed up so I was able to test out my hardtop hoist that I put together for the ifrst time. March 24th as the first time I pulled the top of my Mistress and gave my wife Jeep Hair.

I liked the Mojito color, wife...HATED it. called it a girls....color to pretty boy....not for the trails....It was a color to take to the golf course...

We both liked Red, but liked Red accents better.

We both liked the White and I thought that it would be easier to make look personal. The White is super bright, Then any add on, will really stand out. We both liked how the red accents on the white stood out. I will add this to the hood in the next couple days or so. This was made to match the Rubicon sticker on the side of the hood.

After I had this decal designed and installed, I posted a picture on my facebook account. Someone took the picture and posted it to instagram and it went viral. Then others started coping it. Which I think is cool. I got hit up on who I had make it and I posted his info and he got a lot of business form it. He then went on to make some variations of it. I still like the clean 1941 that matches the Rubicon decal. If yo are interested in the decal, He can be found at Stickin2it on facebook. He has a lot of very nice Jeep decals. I also had him make me a custom dash decal. You will see many of those on his page also. He is a great guy to deal with. He can custom make you anything you want. He designed my decals in a day and shipped the next day. Super easy to work with and great customer service.

Here are some hood shots with the decal.

I was just walking outside, and had to come look where you were located. In the parking lot in front of my office is a white JLUR that looks very similar to yours, including the 1941 sticker. Mimicry is the highest form of flattery!

I joined the Lansing Area Jeep Club back in December. On Saturday, I organized and lead my first Jeep trail run in Michigan. We did about 45 miles by trail. We stopped for lunch and grilled along the side of the trail. There was 18 Jeeps. There was plenty of water and mud. We had a great time.

The weather has finally warmed up. So today I power washed the MIstress, then washed it twice, waxed it, cleaned the inside, armor all the inside, vacuumed, and cleaned the wheels and tires. About five hours to go from this...

To this. Also pulled off the freedom tops and removed the doors and put on my tube doors. In the morning the rest of the top is coming off also.

Hopefully this week, the Ace Engineering rear bumper and Stand alone Tire Carrier will be in. I also added the Rancho Diff skids on the front and rear diffs. Pics will follow.

So today, I added the Motor City Aftermarket tube doors, and their windshield mounted mirrors. The fit and finish was on point. Got the top off and now I am ready for warmer days.

So, adding some updates to The Mistress. I recently installed an Ace Stand Alone Tire Carrier and an ACE rear bumper. I have had them on for a couple weeks now and I am impressed with the quality, the fit and the finish. The powercoat is very thick on these. I did not think that I was going to be able to scrub it off with a wire wheel on an air grinder around the CB Antenna mount hole. The stuff is tough. The tire carrier does not rattle or shake. If you try to shake the tire, you will shake the whole vehicle. It is very strong.. The rear bumper is strong. I don't think you can hurt it with a sledge hammer. I am more than confident that the bumper will NOT flex up into the body of the Jeep.

I have also added the Rancho Front and Rear Differential Skids. They were an easy install. I think it took longer to unbox them and get the tools than it did to put them on the JLUR.

We have a girl in our local Jeep club that make paracord grab handles. She is a stay at home mom that loves to Jeep. She can make any color that someone wants as long as she can find that color of cord.

I see a lot of people asking about phone mounts. This is what I use and it can hold my phone or my 10 inch tablet. It is super adjustable, easy to take off or put on. I ordered it all off amazon. It is strong enough that my phone or tablet stays put even while off roading.

As you can see with the weather finally getting better, I have been busy. I also added a Cobra 75 CB radio. This took about 2 hours to mount the antenna, run the coaxial cable from the back to the front and wire power to the CB. The mount for the mic is a real clean look and keeps the radio out of the way of everything.

One more shot of the Mistress at the edge of the hayfield. I have the Mopar sun shade on it. It cuts down on a lot of the wind while driving.

and added the door sill protectors.

I have the same bright white Jeep and I am adding a couple of decals to it. Question for you: the red outline on the “Rubicon” hood decal (or the outline on your “1941” decal, do you know the color code (for photoshop)? I am working on a small custom decal and I want to try to match the colors...
