Mud under the snow being exposed from spinning tires. What happened on the lower photo? Looks like a deer carcass was dragged up the hill.
Thats the sand thats in that area lol. I see what you mean though it looks like something or someone was drug up that hill. What happened on the lower photo? Looks like a deer carcass was dragged up the hill.
Mine was the 304 with a 3 speed. Of all the vehicles I've owned thats the one i should have never gotten rid of.NICE!
Did you have the inline 6, the 304 v8, or the Iron Duke 4 banger? My 80 CJ7 had the 4 banger, I didn't make the same mistake when I built up my 74 CJ5, lol.
The AMC V8s were solid motors, bad on gas but very tough! Put a balanced & printed AMC 401 along w/ a compound low T19 4 speed in my 74, I miss that thing almost dailyMine was the 304 with a 3 speed. Of all the vehicles I've owned thats the one i should have never gotten rid of.
Boomer-fest~love it!At the risk of turning this thread into a boomer fest ; here’s my ol’ CJ5 with a Buick 340 V8, and a lot of other neat stuff…remember chrome wheels and XT Commandos?
I will always miss this one…
Lol had 2" Rancho Springs & 3" body pucks on the CJ5. Had to put the shackles behind the front axle to keep it on the road at over 40 mph.CJ7 with V8, headers and 3 speed. Lifted with Rancho add a spring making for total lock-out of suspension travel.
It would beat us senseless on the highway. Tore rear seats out, replaced with bean bags, problem solved for passengers at least.
