I have to get into this too. My first, 78 CJ7 Renegade, “Levi Edition” 258 straight six. Wow how I miss that thing.

Very first day I purchased it a deer ran into the left front denting the fender, wore that as a badge of honor for the next 22 years I owned it.

Lot of wheeling back in the day, not so much now. My 21 Jl hasn’t left the pavement yet. Check out the jeans in that one pic. Those were good days.

Just strolling through some old posts this morning. That last picture is awesome! Out in nature by yourself, just you and your Jeep. Very cool!
I had a chance to buy one just like that in 1990 for $3000. Kid on the way and not enough money - the one (of many) that got away!

Back in the day you could lose yourself in the back country, unfortunately all developed today. Our children will never know how simple it was then.

Yeah, that is an epic pic and a great summation of the times. Cool Jeep, cool dude, rockin' bell bottoms and Dingo boots all while havin' a smoke! WINNING!!!
