I like all things offroad and turn assist is awesome, wish I could get it on my JLURXR.

I’m conflicted on this…
On one hand I think it’s kinda cool.
On the other hand it seems counter to the “tread lightly” mentality. We air down in part to protect the trail. This then locks a wheel and drags it around a turn…

Really picks up some speed to complete that turn. I've been down Black Bear once in '99....and I wonder if this is really the best time to use this feature. Brakes, rear locker and and engine that isn't going to stall are your best friend here.

Oh hell no not on that shelf. A proper dig system that disconnects the rear is awesome, this isn't that.

Hard on the actual tread itself too.
These are the first things that crossed my mind too. Very cool it see it in the real world, but it seems like it's very hard on the trail and the vehicle. Tires, brakes, etc. I could also see a lot of people coming in too tight and getting into roll situations on the shelf switch backs.

I used this feature during a ten hour Bronco event on less steep switch backs which executed with less wheel drag.

He clipped the corner a bit which didn't help things.

4 door turning tighter than 2 doors. Rear is unlocked, but still pushing in different direction not optimal yet still an awesome feature.

Wrong for the trail, or don't like it... don't use it.

Need it, it's there.

Jeep has had an amazing feature for decades that can get you through that turn even easier than that.......2 wheel drive!

I do like that Ford was being innovative there. But I just have never once felt the need for that feature in 3 decades of off-roading.
