Pic taken here in San Antonio this weekend by a Jeep buddy from work. Quality not the highest due to being taken on the fly, but you get the gist. Seriously, Bronco guy? Sad, so sad... :CWL:

Who cares. This guy probably goes to the crystal beach spring break event.

Fun ones!
How did we win????

since the Bronco came out all we got was - - higher prices
- more expensive goodies
- a V8 option few can afford
In essence the gain is only for the rich, not the average guy.
What did your XR Rubicon set ya back? That’s basically one step down from the 392. Now if you were rockin a Sport 2 door with crank windows, then okay.

They probably have this on their dash. Cause if they believe their license plate they also believe unicorns are real. All in good fun.

I started looking for something similar to start putting on Bronco's door handles. :lipssealed:;) so the owners wouldn't feel left out.

Lol In 2021-22 the XR was a $4k package on a regular Rubicon nothing more. In other words less then a gear swap and 35” tires. That is a far cry from a 392. We’re talking over $20k cdn difference in price.

So on a brand new vehicle a $20k CAD difference is what distinguishes someone from wealthy to a layman?

Not at all, that was the difference in 21 when I ordered. The difference now is closer $50k Cdn.
I certainly don’t consider myself wealthy by any stretch, near retirement and a healthy trade in got me that far, but now $110k for a 392 is a very far stretch for me. FYI a 4XE Rubicon cost more then my XR and there were quite a few options I didn’t get so I’d say price wise my XR is about midway.
But you are missing the point of my original statement. This competition has driven the base price up and added more to the top end in options. It has not helped the average guy that can’t afford a $50k vehicle without price incentives, or reducing prices to be more competitive. I guess competitive is the wrong word as the Bronco being the closest competition has also increased base prices to above that of the Wrangler.

:CWL: Nice one! Glad I was NOT there with that mob. Geezo. There are plenty of Beach Week gatherings that don't have that level of chaos and drunkenness.

All good on this guy's personalized plate. He can put what he wants on anything he pays for. Just funny.

I'm not triggered or anything. I have two friends who have Broncos and they are fine. But I still a little bit bad for anyone driving them because they ARE a Ford. Not that Jeep is known for high quality, but never will I EVER drive another Ford.

My husband has a Bronco and while it is very nice, I just feel so much freeer and safer in my Jeep. Both are two doors. We joke with each other about Jeep vs Bronco all the time. However, I know the truth lol.

Thanks for your comments, Kim. In all seriousness, having driven both, what, beyond you feeling safer in the Jeep, do you notice as the biggest differences, and why do you prefer your Jeep? I haven't had the opportunity to drive a Bronco of any type, so cannot comment. Truly interested in hearing perspectives of those who own/have driven both. Have seen a few here in the forums, so interested in your perspective. Thanks!

I am not exactly sure why I have that feeling. It may be because it just feels like a tank vs a pretty truck. I like the fun ride of the solid axles verses the smoother car like ride of the Bronco. The Bronco feels more closed in even with the top and doors off because the bodyside walls are taller. Even though the Bronco is bigger, I just feel like the Jeep is more solid. Even though the Bronco doors are like half doors because they do not have a frame which is cool, they are kinda flimsy and make a rattling noise. Removing a Jeep backseat is much easier and cleaner than the Bronco. Both have hard tops but the Bronco seems louder. My JL 2.0 turbo gets better gas mileage and I have bigger tires. I'm sure there are other things I just can't think of right now. I think the biggest thing is that when I get in my Jeep, I feel invincible, lol.

That is a great rundown. Thanks for the real-world feedback, Kim!:like:

Actually born and raised in Chicago. I bought it for him. As I bought my Jeep. It was his grocery getter so yeah, I guess I am built differently.
