You do realize that Jeep has Chrysler roots, a company that has long been known to produce junk. Candidly my 2018 Ford Edge has had virtually no problems while my 2020 Wrangler has had at least 4 significant issues.
Lol produce Junk lol. Mopar the best, most innovative and fastest of all the muscle cars. You obviously never owned a Mopar. Some of the best longest running motors ever built. Don’t get me started on rusted out Fords and bad engines.

Probably a unhappy Jeep owner who got sick of Jeep’s bullshit and decided to move-on…. Good for him if it makes him/her feel better.

They’ve all have / had good engines at some point.

I won't predict which manufacturer will overproduce more, but I'm hoping to see BIG factory rebate money on the right stripper sport 2-door with a manual transmission.

With luck, we'll find just the right one to convince my wife to let go of her 2005 Mustang GT, which neither of us drive anymore.
Does the fact that 2005 is the first model year for the well-regarded 5th Gen Mustang increase the market value in any manner? Or would the opposite actually be true? Just curious.

Maybe on my 4xe I should put one that says "hybrid gas guzzler"
I've a 2S snow thrower with a lovely ring-a-ding Tecumseh. It needs a refresh, so after a bit of tidying up, I'm going to attach this decal front and center. :)

I don’t know. My wife is a Mustang-a-holic. She was driving a red 1966 when I first asked her on a date forty years ago…. She special-ordered this one when she saw the new/old body style. When it arrived she lowered it, got a tuner, replaced the exhaust, and added Foose wheels and better tires. We replaced the leather with matching Katzkin about five years ago (Because I sat in the driver’s seat with a screwdriver in my back pocket and put a three inch gash in the original leather.) It’s never been a daily driver, so it’s got a whopping 56,000 miles on it and it’s spent most of it’s 18 years in a garage bay hooked to a charger. She thinks it’s worth $25,000 “at least”. The dealer thinks it’s worth about $6,000. I suspect the truth is closer to $12,000, or maybe $14,000— which is why she can’t part with it, even though using the clutch hurts her back now.

We’ll probably give it to a grandchild someday. That’s easier than selling it for less than it feels like it should be worth (but isn’t). :)

It looks like new, and it sounds great, but cars have improved tremendously over the last two decades... My work car will walk away from it easily. It also handles much better, brakes much better, and remains stable and planted at speeds 60 mph above where the Mustang starts to float — so it’s nostalgia and inertia that keeps the pony in the garage.

If you don’t mind me asking… what are your four significant issues?

You are all too serious. I'm sure it's intended as a joke. I think it's funny.
That's how I took it. It's funny, who cares. No one, including Ford, is eliminating the Jeep. Broncos have a history so they are going to sell them and take a slice of the Jeep market. It's actually a great thing because it keeps Jeep on its toes. We all win.

How did we win????

since the Bronco came out all we got was - - higher prices
- more expensive goodies
- a V8 option few can afford
In essence the gain is only for the rich, not the average guy.

Having a competitor helps ensure Jeep pays a bit more attention to the vehicle instead of letting it coast for a decade without change.

Price increases are inflation, supply/demand, AND greed...sorry, not Ford's fault.

24 refresh is pushing some nice items if sorry if they are not targeted at the "average" guy. You're sporting a 22 Rubicon XR so they are targeting you :)

LOL - the only the "Bronco" has done is causing me to love my Jeep more and more. Besides, everyone knows that a wrangler is a bronco buster.

I'm guessing he was one of those guys who couldn't figure out how to upgrade his jeep correctly and gave up, allowing FOMOCO to sell him an ipad with wheels.

A little smack talk never hurt anyone. Love what the competition has done to make Jeep step up their game!
