I see their "Jeep" reference license plate as an indication of them being threatened by Jeep or hoping one day to be as good as a Jeep. But a license plate, really!? Why not just get a sticker or decal?

Hmmm., well let’s see. Jeep has been in continuous production since what 1940? Bronco made an appearance in the 60’s, then upsized to a short wheelbase F150, then disappeared entirely for a couple decades…no thanks, I’ll stay with Jeep?. Remember the original Bronco was a lot closer to an IH Scout than it was to a Jeep (‘ course us Scout guys thought it was a poor copy….)

I think it's funny as hell and agree that too many people can't take a joke (see "butthurt" above). We have a 2013 LR4 and would love to put the "NICE JEEP, PEASANT" sticker on the back. Hysterical considering our LR is worth a fraction of the JLUR, but I'm too afraid some jackass will key the LR; or worse I'll end up in a road rage incident because they have no sense of humor.

RIP Jeep? Riiiight....

The latest fight brewing over at Bronco6G has to do with Ford’s “revolutionary” turn assist breaking Bronco axles. And now Ford doesn’t even want to fix them under warranty, claiming that those vehicles were taken “off-road”...

I said before and I’ll say it again: Broncos are for the easily impressionable.

From the article "Defective or weaker plug welds on the assembly could fail when the feature is used, particularly if the feature is used inappropriately on sealed surfaces."

Ford is claiming people are using the trail turn assist inappropriately. Would you turn on your front locker in the parking lot at Wal Mart, start driving around at high speeds, and be surprised when your diff breaks, or you bust an axle? No. People think the trail turn assist is for spinning donuts, and try to get warranty claims when it breaks. Use it for what its meant for, tight cornering on the trails, and you're fine.

The Bronco is the forty something second wife tring to impress the first wife by wearing the same outfit that's two sizes too small.
If I get a second wife, she definitely won’t be 40!! And when she turns40, I’ll be going on a third wife.

All I'll say is the younger the wife the younger her kids will be......

Perhaps he was so fed up with his Jeep dealer, he dumped his Jeep and got a Bronco instead. He now wants to stick it to Jeep.

I’d opt for this instead:

A few months back, I saw a Bronco with a tire cover that said "since 196?" (Don't recall the exact year). The latest of many false claims made by Ford about the bronco.

I like it. I can almost guarantee you if you roll up next to this person, you'll get a smile and a wave. Just a good sense of humor.

You are all too serious. I'm sure it's intended as a joke. I think it's funny.
I agree. It's in the same vein as Jeeps that have a "Bronco recovery vehicle" decal. Just a friendly jab, I don't think there's any downright hatred going on here. I'll happily wheel with someone who has a Bronco, or a Toyota, or a Subaru, whatever. Wheeling is wheeling. Get out there and have some fun, poke a few friendly humorous jabs at each other, and don't stress out about what each other are driving.
