Lol, since we’re talking colors now, I genuinely think Toyota has stepped it up. I personally think their Solar Orange is awesome. May even be why Jeep is bringing back 🎃.

My last 2 vehicles were a 2001 Astro van and a 2016 Nissan Juke.

My brother's last was a super clean 2008 Mustang GT with a manual transmission. That thing really hauled the mail...

They are cool but I don’t understand Ford’s price strategy. Why would you get a Bronco Raptor over an 150 raptor? For a desert running machine, wouldn’t you choose the more powerful and larger track vehicle since prices are close? Add in the markups and you might as well go Raptor R. Atleast the 392 and TRX are built for different off-roading.
MSRP on my 2022 TRX and my 2022 392 XR is within $200 of being the same. Sounds like Ford is following the same pricing strategy.

That is a stunning color also! I also love that beautiful blue. I think Toyota has some great colors on their new 4Runners!

I initially wanted ta Braptor but then I realized it would be next to impossible to get one at a reasonable price. Started seeing positive reviews about the 392 and then they released the XR package which really got me interested. Discovered a 392 forum and dealer within 500 miles was offering $6k under MSRP, I said screw it and ordered a 392 on a whim. Best car decision I ever made.

I am not a fan of the fender flares on the Bronco, but figured the aftermarket will come up with a better solution. They don't look too bad on black and orange cars though. I was also disappointed with the performance numbers. The 392 absolutely destroyed the Braptor in terms of acceleration. It isn't even in the same league. In fact, a 4XE is quicker than the Braptor.

Ford really dropped the ball imho not putting the v8 in the Braptor. Maybe they will do a Bronco R like the pickup truck.

With that said, I have been impressed with the overall handling of the Braptor from what I've seen. Suspension looks great on it. It would probably be a much better ride than the 392 overall.
I owned a Raptor for 4 days and 400 miles. Decided I liked my '21 392 XR much better. The Raptor has a little better on road handling but the width and lack of outward visibility of the thing made parking it a PIA. Also my 392 is stock height and I have no problem at 70 getting in and out of it. Not so for the Braptor which was higher and tougher for me to navigate getting in and out, with the steps and the grab handle relationship just being really awkward. Fit and finish on it also wasn't as nice as the 392 either although a lot of people think the opposite, but my 392 is screwed together pretty well and feels more solid to me. I wound up selling it back to the dealer for a nice profit.

Two seconds slower to 60 than a 392. I was surprised.

Bronco thread number 50…… but who’s counting…………😉
Amen.

[although the top thread subject is still "Can my stock spare carrier support 37s?"]

Theres a Raptor sitting here where I work, the guy bought it and consigned it back to us to sell. Didnt even bother to drive it off the lot. Figured he could flip it and make $60k. Nobody working here is excited to answer any questions about it, its an embarrasment. We changed our rules of consigning vehicles because of it. I'm so unimpressed by the Bronco that I've never driven one, I have however used Broncos to sell Wranglers instead several times.
