I looked at the Bronco in my initial 4x4 search, but like so many other with short person height problems, it kind of spoke for itself in the decision to get my Jeep when I couldn't see over the hood in the Bronco.....even with the seat at the highest level it would go and pushed all the up lol

Yea the hood is just ridiculous . Blocks all front side views. . Definitely was not designed BY off roaders FOR of roaders . And for that and a huge number of other reasons it is and always will be poser .

The Bronco’s front facing camera is its saving grace for wheeling. I wouldn’t try half the obstacles I try without it. The hood blocks way too much visibility. And it’s ALL for looks. The corner panel shape is just an empty cavity. I’m guessing Ford rounds it out for better visibility on the next iteration.

Matts off road recovery said it best, If it has IFS take it to the golf course, not out here. For me the Bronco is too wide, If I want to drive big and bulky I will take my power wagon.

Lol we got a box stock Bronco Everglades through Matts most recent rant "Rattlesnake Canyon - Touqerville Falls". That was his first real trail so we had to stack a rocks a few times. Otherwise I thought it was a good beginners trail with great views. Plenty of IFS tacos run the trail.

I have a JKU Rubicon with a 3" lift and 35s. And my wife has a Badsquatch Bronco with 35s. The Bronco wins on everything except offroad. The Rubicon has 16" of clearance under the belly and the Bronco has 11". Clearance is everything offroad.

I had a bronco Wildtrak on order for over a year. Gave up and ordered my Rubi-x. A month after picking up the jeep, the Boerne ford dealership calls and says the bronco is here. Sorry too late 🤣 I’m really happy with the jeep and the awesome price from mark dodge. Btw I don’t believe the Wildtrak came with disco only the badlands.

This was the bronco I ordered. Both vehicles are on 35” tires. The jeep looks much better to me. Bronco looks really plain like a ford flex. I don’t know why ford couldn’t make a black top instead of the faded gray color that doesn’t match. Ford was also having trouble getting the trailer tow packages. But I did like how the bronco didn’t have the cross bar hitting your head and the center panel could easily be removed.

nice photos.

Here’s the story in 5 key points:
  • In 2021, the wife chose a Ford Bronco Wildtrak over a Jeep JLU after being impressed with its tech and capability, making it their first true off-road vehicle.
  • The Wildtrak’s Sasquatch package handled trails flawlessly, sparking a deeper interest in off-roading and Jeep culture.
  • The family later bought a 2021 Jeep Rubicon, which was modified and taken on iconic trails in Moab and Colorado, proving highly capable and versatile.
  • Plans to compare Jeep vs. Bronco ended when they traded the Wildtrak for a discounted Bronco Raptor, offering more power and performance.
  • Off-roading through both Jeep and Bronco has brought countless adventures, community connections, and plans to tackle the Rubicon Trail next.

Yeah, that cracked me up hearing that shot at IFS. 😂

I sensed Matt was get irritated by the kid driving the Colorado and getting hung up on every other rock.

I don't read video comments, but I'm sure he stirred up quite a ruckus with that. 😂

Someone should have edited that video more and Matt should have driven it out. The best part about wheeling is the challenge and picking lines. When Matt doesn't have his film crew the content tanks fast. I think Matt was upset with his kid not getting the correct location and took it out on the other kids.

The IFS rant is like this thread, some think its not hardcore, others its just fine. Not worth arguing with them over, you can tell from 10ft away if a owner is wheeler.

I know the Broncos are capable but who does not expect some smack to be talked about on a forum like this.

Thats deep. I was just being lazy and have a short attention span. lol

One time our group and a group of broncos were leaving the trailhead at the same time, I told our group to hurry up and get ahead of them so they don't trail plug us.

Joke a side, I have no problem with a offroad vehicle being IFS. They are always pros and cons. Choose what you love and love what you choose. Go out and have fun.

But I would never touch any Ford even with a 10' pole. That's just a personal bias.

Its a fact that Rubicons are slower than Bronco its a 4:1 issues.
