Yes, after my mods which included a heavy camp kit in the back I did adjust the headlights. Seldom do I get oncoming cars flash me now. Still driving highways at night is not a concern with proper alignment.
The reason for higher brightness for the fogs is to better illuminate the area close to the front so I can see better with the front camera. With stock LEDs with certain lighting I get shadows and cannot see the obstructions. This is important for self spotting in really rough terrain.
Another reason for brighter lights is for driving in the silt where the guy you are following cannot see you and sometimes he leaves me behind at turns. Amber fogs make that better compared to white (a costly pod replacement).
I hope we hear for someone who is upgrading the fog pods.

I have a 21 with the OEM LED light package and need suggestions for brighter bulbs as opposed to replacement lights for fog, also brighter OEM driving lights.
Have anyone done this with success. Tell me what you used.
Thanks, PW

Maybe I’m just misunderstanding, but your initial post made it sound like you do NOT want replacement fogs, but your last post makes it sound like you are open to it.
Aftermarket fog lights will definitely do a better job lighting up right in front of the vehicle. Amber ones may also help with dust, although I haven’t had a chance to test it.
Both Diode Dynamics and Baja Designs make well liked aftermarket fog lights. Although I would wait for BD to finish redesigning theirs before ordering theirs.

It sounds like you’re in need of off road lighting specifically, why not add auxiliary lighting? A couple bumper mounted pods would fix the camera lighting issue.

bite the bullet and replace the fogs. the sports are all you'd really need and they by far throw more light than the OEs. i whined a little at the initial cost and would do it again in a second.

Honestly I'm surprised you are looking for brighter driving bulbs with the LED. I've had several people flash me thinking I'm driving with my brights on when I'm not, so I politely flash them back to show I'm not. These LEDs have been the best driving lights I've had on any car. I kinda to feel bad for people approaching since they do seem kinda bright. Anyway, as others have stated, it is a whole unit replacement if you choose to go aftermarket.
The OEM lights are great. They throw a nice broad wall of light. If I was going to add, I would get a driving light with a narrow beam. But I would definitely keep the OEM lights simply because they do put out quite a bit of light.

The OEM LED fogs are less impressive. But since they can't be setup to come on with only the high beams, I'd not consider replacing them with something more focused.

One other downside to keeping your lights too high is terrible performance in the snow.

I was driving this winter after adding a topper to the back of my Gladiator and the lights were aimed too high. People would occasionally flash me but not too often. Adjusting the lights was down on my list of to do items.

Then I drove through a heavy snow squall and even with the low beams on, I couldn't see because of the Star Wars Hyperspace effect.
