What's holding it down so it doesn't move or brake when you're driving? Did you buy the hold down pins?
I didn’t tie it down on this trip. Never got above 20 mph and didn’t do anything bumpy. Jeep says to strap it down to the hood tie-downs. They also say “Off-road use only”.

Got my mopar 2” lift kit installed today.

Mopar lift kit. $1295 Amazon
Installation $500 with alignment...did not do head light adjustment.

Took my mechanic 7 hours with alignment. Glad he gave me price before hand instead of charging by hours.

What have you guys paid for kit install?

Rides great a little more movement all around in the ride. Car feels a little less grounded but other than that it rides really good.

That don't look like rail dirt to me. More like a defect in the paint.
Wow! That looks like 100% factory issue. There looks to be contamination under the paint in your picture. Small black dots with paint over them where you can see the paint distorted from the raised surface. One of the spots even looks like it may be rust coming through the surface of the paint. If your dealer is throwing it back on you I would request the number to contact your local FCA Rep. Also contacting Jeep Cares on this forum might help as well.

Good luck.

Lovely to hear. Will definitely be contacting Jeep cares. They are in various spots on my Jeep. Do you both agree it would be over the top to ask for a new hardtop? I’m just worried about them “feathering it in” -thanks!

@JeepCares
Personally I would push for a new replacement top (if that's the only place this issue is located at) just to see if they'll go that far for you. Worst case you tell them you want the whole top repainted by a quality shop. That shop should warranty the paint job as long as you own the Jeep so you would be in good shape going forward.

Siblings. And my apparent obsession with cars with iconic silhouettes

You have good taste! This might be the first, and last, time I ever say this about a Mini Cooper, but that thing looks sexy in that color! Haha

Thank you very much! Ya I love that color it’s low key and not obnoxiously loud like the others, but still drives like a go cart! Let’s just say these two are in the completely opposite side of the spectrum!

Hey yall! I just joined the club. Here are a few shots of my JLUR. I'm super excited, as you can see in one of the pics. I've also included a pic of my lil rat dog hanging out in the wheel well. (engine was off and vehicle in park!)

This is the 3rd white SUV I've owned. I traded in my Xterra for the jeep. I've included a shot of her for reference. Thanks to all and have a great day!

Very nice. My JLUS, same color and top, this convinced me to do the same. I like the stance and the look. I was debating the Mopar Gear wheel over the Quadratec Hardrock. Your pics made the decision for me.

I think you had another post on the wheels, I'll look for that, but any issues before the lift? With offset? Rubbing? In Massachusetts they can be sticklers about tires that poke out beyond fenders. I might go down a size on the tire width

I'm probably going to do the wheels/tires first. Then the lift.

How about the tailgate?

We picked up our Jeep a couple of weeks ago. We just had 35's on Fuel Wheels put on along with the RC lift, and tailgate reinforcement. This is our first Jeep.

Just got my Jeep back from the shop. Here are a few photos. Had door handles, side mirrors, antenna base, and fuel cover all painted to match the body. I think I’m going to take it back in to get the hood latches, and the windshield rest/solution sprayers to match the body as well, since I don’t think I will ever put the windshield down.

They thought I should do the side vents too, but I think I like them black. Opinions?

Here’s a video too. Sorry that’s its kinda grainy. I’m new at this. Lol.

Where your fenders textured at all? For my rubicon they have a very faint texture from the factory which makes me wonder if having a shop try and paint them may not be possible. Let me know!
