Starting this discussion a bit late as I have already had the car for a few months but will be posting and updating as my build comes along.

Bought the Jeep December 23rd with right around 2200 miles on it. To my knowledge, before I owned it, it was being used as a rental vehicle for the dealer. It is a 2018 but I still consider it brand new when i bought it. I was looking for a two door rubicon specifically for a few months but didn’t quite find what i was looking for. These two door rubicons are tough to find especially for the right price. I ultimately gave up hope and decided to go with a Tesla Model 3, but then boom jsut like that this one popped up and I went in and bought it the same day.

Great choice and awesome looking rig! I've got a white 2 door Rubi as well, love it. It's also my first Jeep, but mine's a 3.6. Had to have the V6 growl coming from a supercharged Audi S5 - but funnily enough I was cross shopping a model 3 as well. Two completely different paths, but I'm glad the right Jeep showed up because the trails and adventures to be had in the Las Vegas / Socal area are incredible. Tons and tons and tons of adventures out this way.

First “Mod: Removed the wrangler side decals

Some before and after photos below. Just peeled off with minimal effort, cleaning it up with a dab of goo gone the make sure it wouldn’t gather any grime or dust

Funny enough, I actually had a photo of your Jeep as my screensaver for a month or two before I finally found mine! What are the odds. Knew i had to get white.

Next mod was a rydonair 13” antenna. Didn’t really like the look of anything shorter and i think this length is just right. Was paranoid about the OEM antenna smacking my windshield. Haven’t noticed any loss in reception but i mainly use XM and CarPlay

I’m going to try and add a bunch of pictures for every post to help those that are on the fence.

Next mod was the @Diode Dynamics clear LED Side markers.
Honestly out of all my mods i think this is one of the best I’ve done. Completely transforms the front end and makes it look like a more custom stormtrooper theme.

Install was simple but its a lot easy if you have a second pair of hands to hold back the inside fender, lots of videos online showing install. Ive attached some photos below with it both on while the cars running and off,

My most prominent concern with the Jeep when i got it was that it didn’t come with the LED package and I really do not feel that it is worth the cost to upgrade to the whole LED package so I decided to go a different route. I really think no newer car should have yellow halogen lights that suck this bad,

Soooo, I went with beamtech 6500k 10K Lumen LED bulbs for the headlights https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073ZDLKT9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
These produce am amazing amount of light and were super easy to install. In can be a pain to remove the grille but all you really have to do is give it a tug. I have no lights on dash, bulb errros or anything with these lights and have been rung in the for a month. There is a fan that sticks out the back of the bulbs to cool them but they fit just fine. Best bang for your buck upgrade you can do IMO. Way cheaper than buying new headlights.

I also went in and replaced the Fog Lights with some HP48 LED bulbs from @Diode Dynamics. They are a great match to the beamtech bulbs although if you plan of keeping your fogs I would pay the extra to get the higher Lumens. Output is defiantly better than the halogen regardless.

Lastly in terms of fixing the stock lights I replaced the DRL lights with LED bulbs form @Diode Dynamics. I ended up ordering the front turn signal/daytime running light bulb kit but wish I did not. The reason being that you have to splice your wiring with a resistor in order prevent a bulb out warning on the dash. NOTE: this is only for the turn signal light that you have to do that not the DRL so I ended up only using the DRL LED and not the rest of the kit. I only went with the 500 lumen bulbs. Also just a note, i feel like the turn signal bulb is bright enough as it is and you cant even tell its not LED so not really worth the trouble to install and wire it.

haven’t had any issues with light warning or anything but if i were to do it all over again I probably would’ve went with an oracle single LED in a higher lumen to make it more bright and white. I would totally buy it from diode dynamics instead but they only sell it as a kit right now. In the future I’ll probably swap it out for a higher lumen bulb.

So to recap I replaced the fogs, headlights, and DRL with LED Bulbs, as well as the side markers. Now i finally feel like I’ve brought the Jeep into the 21st century for a relatively low cost. I may install @Diode Dynamics HD Halos in the future unless a new decent headlight come out, Not really feeling the oracle oculus especially with a lot of people comparing about their greenish halo color.

I’ve attached a bunch of photos below. I didn’t have to adjust the headlight bulbs at all. There’s also a photo in there of a side by side comparison.

Next up I installed a gun mount magnet the keeper magnetic gun mount from amazon. Seemed to have the most good reviews. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LXCJHKG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, original plans were to find a spot inside the center console but I ran out of room in there haha

Still really enjoy it regardless in this location especially for trips to get fast food or if i know i am going to be driving for awhile. It is study and stay in place easily, it does come with Tebow magnets so i doubled them up the give a stronger hold and more room for the gun to fit. I used some heavy duty double sided tape to install since I didn’t want to drill into the Plastic which worked for a couple weeks but then after awhile it fell off so I am going to try some epoxy instead,

Next big mod for me was the Rigid D-SS Pro side shooter lights. I think these things are absolutely sick. They look great and work phenomenal. I knew I wanted to install them in the a pillar so i went with the ZROADS a pillar mounts. I picked these mounts because the looked to sit the lowest out of the windshield view and were just a simple design very unobtrusive unlike many other options on the market.

I was really confused on the wiring since i had never wired up lights before but after doing some research on here i figured it out. I have the aux switches/ tow package so i wired them up to aux 3. I have attached below what wire to use and which ones to you font need below. Basically all you need in the two bald and red white that run to the connectors the contents the lights. All you have to do is connect the red wire to whatever switch wire you choose (orange for #3 in my case) and them put the black one to ground weather on the battery or on the side of the engine bay like i did. It’s as simple as that. I have posted photos below of the wire you can cut and what parts you dont need.

The mounts have been great and for those of you wondering I’ve had no issues with the bouncing or moving at all. They are very sturdy even one a rough road.

I was not able to get any good pics to show the actual output of the lights but i can promise you it is a huge difference. i went with spots instead of floods after some research. I plan to add some floods to a front bumper at some point.

I included some on and off photos of the lights in a darkish park too but noticed my camera doesn’t pic up the actual brightness difference very well

Now here she is today sitting pretty at the office.

Currently have a muffler delete from dynomax but haven’t installed it yet. Maybe this weekend...

Next plans are for a poison Spyder Bruizer front number, winch, and some factor 55 goodies but I’m in no rush. Not really sure if i want to drop a lift yet, but definitely considering 35s and some method wheels after I wear these tires out a bit.

Also plan on getting some roam side steps very soon. Had my girlfriend rip her pants the other night trip to jump into the back which was pretty funny. Plus I wear suits a lot for work so i think it is needed at this point.

Any suggestion and comments are greatly apracited. Plus feel free to reach out I’m am always happy to help.

Did a nice drive up to Mt. Charleston today. Most of the trails were closed because of the snow but I still managed to grab some cool pics.

Just installed some weathertech floor liners tonight. I really like them. Don’t really care about a drain plug like the oEM mats so I went with these. Think they have a better fit and track record in general.
