Took delivery of brand new 2018 Rubicon and it broke down within an hour of taking delivery and had to be towed. Didn't even get home. So disappointed. All the excitement of new car gone.

Now wondering if this is the begining, how would the next three years be like?

The dealer is assuring it would be fixed but told me that its really a Jeep corporate issue not the dealers. Jeep customer service not very helpful. Anyone else faced problem like this? What are my options, if any?

It was not picking up, but this is my first Wrangler, so I thought maybe its a heavy machine and requires effort and I am not used to it. I was also a little extra careful driving as this is a big vehicle compared to what I am used to driving (BMW 3 series) and I am very petite (5'1). And so, I really thought its not picking up because I am at fault. Did not once think the new car could have problem. But the speed kept going lower to a point where it would not go over 10 miles. Had hard time changing lanes to get on shoulder safely. The engine malfunction light went on (yellow) along with electronic throtle control light(blinking red). Could not park properly as the vehicle stopped completely and had to be pushed to safe place.

Well, that doesnt sound good. Holefully, you got a loaner, as soon as you got back.

Yes, turbo engine.

No, I don't think NY has the 3 day rule. Once out the dealer, its yours.

So Jeep Corporate has no responsibility? No one I can ask why this happened and assure me this won't happen again?

They build the vehicle, didn't they do all testing before selling it? I had very hard time getting out of the busy road to the side shoulder without getting in an accident. Didn't even know where the hazard light are( still don't) - that was one question I didn't think to ask when the sales person was explaining the various functions.
