Just got home with my brand new Jeep tonight and I'm noticing that the wheel well heights don't match. The rear end is noticably higher than the front. Is this normal? I don't like it! I know nothing about suspension stuff. Can the shocks be adjusted down?

This is normal for just about every SUV and Pickup. The rear end sits higher to account for the weight load and cargo. Once it's loaded then it sits level. Can't adjust shocks, but if you want it sitting level then you'll have to raise the front.

Installing a spacer leveling kit would take the factory rake out of these Jeep’s.

Since I remember seeing your posts earlier regarding towing near the max limit. Which would weigh down your rear, I would leave it as is.

I thought about that too. Good point. Maybe I will raise the front as surly suggested. Oh, how do you do that? I'm not going to do it myself. Just curious. Is that the spacer leveling kit?

Thanks for the quick replies!

wait till you put a bumper winch on the front, hence why so many 1/2" spacer kits are sold.

Shocks don't adjust for hight, it's not a lowrider.

The easiest install would be a pair of teraflex 1/2” front spacers.

https://www.quadratec.com/p/teraflex/0.5-Inch-front-coil-spacer-load-level-kit-jeep-wrangler-jl

You can stack 2 sets for 1” etc and so on.
Can call around for a shop that can do this, it’s probably an hour or hour and a half of work at most.

Nice-curious to your opinions in a few months as you came from gas.....
My only reason for buying it was the HP and Torque. The electric versus gas will just be an added bonus to play with. It has 375 HP and 400 Torque. Vvvrrrooommmmm!

I really get the GW vibe from the rear view.

Congrats Robyn. From this pic your Jeep looks perfect to me. If anything it looks like the front is a hair higher. I’d let it break in a little before putting spacers. You may throw it off the other way.

if you do add a leveling kit please adjust the headlights Or have the installers do it. It’s simple and will save some poor soul’s retinas.

Very good point! Thanks for mentioning the break in.
