Today my wife was driving her 2018 JLU sport S. Bone stock with 13k miles on it. She sends me a text saying there is a random grinding noise when braking. Its not a squeak, its grinding, and she hears it when the jeep slows to a stop. Coming from the right rear. I'm thinking its making it at higher speeds but because of road noise you hear it when you slow down. I'll investigate more when she comes home from work. Only brake issue we had was a faulty abs sensors they replaced a six months ago. Any ideas? Any body else have this issue on the JL's? I did a search and all that came up was transmissions grinding and complete brake failures.
