I think you're right that some bowing is normal, but I don't like how the drivers's side seems to show much more bowing than the passenger side in most of the posted pics.

I think I'm just going to wait for that Teraflex kit that has the 3-setting adjustable shocks anyhow.
Yeah, mine definitely has more on the driver's side. I can live with that, but it is just too close to the bump stop for comfort, as it sits now. If I can get it straightened even 1/4", I'll feel better about it.

From talking to Rock Krawler, their spring pad fix sounds like it will make a significant difference. I'd just like to have Mopar address it and save me the 30 bucks (plus shipping.)

I will also say this. I've looked at every JK I could find with a spring lift, and I see lots of them with bowing, especially the 3 inch and higher lifts. It doesn't look as bowed as mine, but the bowing IS common, and to some extent, I have become convinced some bowing IS normal. Too many JK's with various lifts have some bowing. Look around and see.
While I do not like the bowing either, I think it would be EXTREMELY risky for Jeep to make a false statement and say the bowing springs are normal, if in fact they are not. Lawsuits on lawsuits if that ever came to be.

Posting everywhere to keep everyone updated - Please know that we do not recommend modifying your JPP 2ā€ Lift Kit with a non-Mopar aftermarket part. Doing this may void any warranty associated with your lift kit or vehicle.

Keep in mind that a slight bow is intentional. The spring was designed to improve performance and allow increased articulation. If your dealer has determined that your front spring(s) are exhibiting excessive bowing - a revised lower isolator, set to launch before the end of next week, should be installed.

Additional communication and a TSB will be sent out to your certified Jeep dealers to assist in this matter. If you find you need any assistance, please send us a private message or call the Mopar Accessories Assistance line at 1(888) 528- 4364, Option #4.

Thanks for the update, Julie! Please let me know when to expect my dealership to have the TSB. I'd like to get this bowing reduced.

We have an informational video for everyone regarding the installation of the Jeep Performance Parts 2ā€ Lift Kits. It will give a brief overview of what amount of bowing is to be expected. For those that believe they may be experiencing bowing that is out of the norm, we do encourage you to visit your dealers. Communications have been sent out, and all dealers now have access to TSB 02-006-18 to provide additional direction. As always, please send us a private message if you have any additional questions or need assistance.
