Bought my 1st Wrangler!

Woke up on January 1st and decided that after 6 months of mulling it over, I was going to make it happen if I found the right spec’ed car…

Low and behold…. A dealer about 20 miles away had a car “in transit” that met my requirements….

2.0L. Cold weather pkg. Firecracker red. That’s it.

When I called them, It turned out that the JLU Rubicon I saw on their website had just arrived.. seemed like the stars were aligning….

Now if only they give me enough for my trade..

It was hard to part ways with my GT350…. But Garavel CDJR in Norwalk CT were excellent to work with and we made a deal.

Now to start the mods and find some dirt!

After some windshield time behind the Wrangler.....you‘ll miss the Mustang less and less.

I traded this in on my Willys.....

And I’ve learned that the Willys is more useful more days of the year, as I can’t take the T/A to these places:

Your going to have so much more fun with the jeep. The sky is the limit on what you can do to this jeep.

Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone.

The mudflaps were my first mod.. went for the RokBloks.. they work well however I still got a chip on one of my rear door hinges at only 900 miles. Oh well. Thats what I get for getting a new car in the winter.

Touch up paint is a JL door hinge’s best friend.

Congrats @TheDough Great looking Rubicon. We had our first Wrangled one week today and can’t get enough of it. Cant wait for nicer weather. Enjoy the new JLU!
