I'm going to black out my grille I think this weekend, in the past I used Rhino lining on it, but it does fade some over time, does anyone have any suggestions on what is the best material to use?

I Plasti-Dip'd my JK one with the rattle can in black. It's nice because it's reversible and it does last quite a while.

Pro-Tip - when you spray it, put the grill face up on your bare garage door for the first coat, it'll leave a really sweet design on the floor :)

Edit - added photo. My mistake was doing more than one coat on the floor before papering it... Next time I may do one hanging on the wall too!

I was thinking a vinyl wrap. I've had friends do roofs on their Lexus, BMW etc. Anyone with pros or cons on the vinyl?

1.5 Cans on plastidip, 9 coats. Kept my JK grill flawless for 2 years and 20000 hard highway miles as well as offroad miles (on both JKs) actually. When I trade them in, I just peel it off and the OEM paint is flawless and spotless.

I was thinking about buying the MOPAR black grill, but a vinyl would be much less expensive.
I was thinking of buying the Mopar Grill too. How much do you think it would be to wrap the grill instead?

Off hand I don't know. I have seen whole cars wrapped for about 2k here in NY. A small grill can't be to expensive.

That looks great, the plastidip didn't have a shine? I may try that on it
