WE ARE!!!! I know that Cathedral in the background of the first picture. Spent many many a day in that house.A couple of pictures; one recent, one slightly older.
2018 JL Sahara. Had it since December 2019. Unfortunately, I'm not made of money so she's stock for the most part. Have done a few things to it, added weathertech mats inside, bought a softtop (premium twill) for $900 (I think) brand new still banded in the box.
After about 18 months, it seems that I'm going to be lifting it using the Quadratec 2.5" Sport/Sahara lift paired with Fox IFP 2.0 shocks. Place in West Chester will be doing the install for me as I have zero mechanical ability and if i did it (assuming i had the tools and equipment), odds ore a wheel would fall off before I left my development. The place is going to also be installing a Fox Steering STabilizer, adjustable trackbar, and caster correction brackets, in addition to calibrating the speedometer for 35" tires, and an alignment. According to the shop owner, when done, it'll drive better than stock, which is important because I have a wife, and it's going to be virtually on the road all the time. Call it a pavement prince, not many trails in delaware...going for the badass look, but classy at the same time lol.
Wheels and tires are a bit more of a problem as it seems there are not a ton of options that look as good on a black jeep as say a white jeep, where the possibilities are endless. Will be using a 20x9 with a 0 to -12 offset as we are pretty strict here in terms of how far the tire can extend past the fender.
Some of the wheels I am considering:
HardRock Affliction H700
DX4 Boost
And the images won't load...
Other wheels are the Fuel Hostage and the K2 Offroad Rage. If I had to guess, the Fuel wheel is out because they are just damned expensive ($1,320 for 4).
Tires are going to be either the Falken Wildpeak AT3W (35x12.5x20), Toyo OC AT3 (35x12.5x20) or maybe even the Cooper S/T Maxx (35x12.5x20). Definitely open to suggestions as this thing spends 99% of its time on the road as I drive around town.
so yours is -24...and looks to be a good 2" out. so 0 offset should look nice, and keep me legal here!I own a 2018 JL Sahara and last month I finally lifted my Jeep (Mopar 2.5”) with Magnus 23b black wheels 20x10 -25mm on Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35 12.5x20Rx20. I waited because I wanted to feel the factory ride as long as I could so I could tell the difference between my factory ride and the lifted ride. The ride is better than factory except that my steering is sluggish due to the heavy wheels. I’ll probably will upgrade my sterling stabilizer. Any suggestions? Here’s some photos of my JL ‘Black Panther’ and the check out the sun shade of the Black Panther.
