Jack, is there any difference in ride quality with the Rubicon tires. Noise ect. Also, any effect on the accuracy of the speedo.
Thanks

Jack can answer also but ride quality for me is the same if not a little better honestly as far as speedo goes maybe 1 mph or so it seems so not really a difference

I'd say I like the ride a little better than stock honestly. The tire has a little more sidewall and a little bigger footprint but it doesn't grab the road or pull you on uneven surfaces at all. Speedo is between 1-3 MPH off depending on speed because I haven't re-calibrated yet but cruising around 60-65 i'm still averaging 21-23 MPG.

I am going to put Rubi tires on my Sport S too. How do you recalibrate? Do you have to take it to the dealer?

Yes the dealer now has the ability to do it.

A little update to the thread. So took the Jeep down to the river today to have a little fun and it did well. Nothing crazy by any means but I have to say I definitely miss having lockers! This JL also doesn’t have the anti-spin rear end which made some things a little more difficult as well. For having a stock tire and no lift at all yet I’m still impressed with how it’s done though.

Retired but working with benefits.
Crazy what a difference it makes over the dinky stock sport wheel/tire setup. ...
Crazy is how we now call 31 1/2" tires dinky. :)
The Rubi tires go onto our Sport next week, replacing those, well, you know . :jk:

Has anyone replaced the stock suspension on the sport s with rubicon suspension? What's the difference between the two?

I think I read elsewhere on the forum that if put on a Sport the Rubi suspension nets you 1in and the Sahara suspension 0.75-0.5in.
