I asked Hotheads if they would be having a sale for black Friday, and they responded they would be doing a sale for Black Friday.
Awesome, I have been eyeing a few things. A sale would probably push me over from heavily considering it, to waiting for it to arrive.

Not sure what Black Friday is going to look like this year, with the container ships inbound from China still moored off the Pacific and Atlantic coasts.
Depends if you are buying china crap ... lol

Same here.

On a side note, what the hell is happening -- this thread has gone entirely off the rails wayyy too quickly. 🤦‍♂️

That being said, it would be great (and make my job easier) if we could keep the discussion to Black Friday Deals and not deviate into any discourse about where products are manufactured or the current supply chain issues. There may still be deals to be had even if there are delays in shipping (i.e. company's are gonna gladly accept your money regardless of how long it takes to get product to you).

Did a quick search and noticed there wasn't any kind of official thread on BF deals for Jeep stuff.
Here's last year's BF thread, for reference.

And this is the subforum where vendor-sourced Black Friday threads usually appear in volume.

In isolation, that's true. What makes it more broadly relevant is that US-manufactured accessories do oftentimes require foreign components to accommodate their production. So it's not just the availability of the ChiCom cheapies that are affected by offloading delays at Long Beach, etc.

True, but also raw materials are in short supply if imported. Like @Heimkehr said, even things manufactured in the USA could be in short supply, although probably less likely.

I hope more and more companies continue to divest from China. Rough seas are ahead there, anyway. As bad as ours is, their debt is twice the percentage of GDP as ours and they are turning back to Socialism and central planning. Companies need to get out while the gettin' is good.

Anyone know what @Northridge4x4 is going to have for BF?

Yeah, over the years I’ve become a big fan of BF Goodrich, General Tire and Falken Tire. My BFG KO2s and General Grabber ATs have been phenomenal.

Falken was a relatively obscure tire brand until recently.

In 2013 I blew a front tire on my Dodge Challenger 392 on a mountain road in California. To make a long story short, the replacement GoodYear F1 Supercar tire was a whopping $375/each. A pretty steep price in those days. To make matters worse, they were summer tires that slid all over the road as soon as a few drops fell on the ground.

I wasn’t willing to spend $400 on one tire. The guys at Discount Tire recommended the Falken Azenis; two of them cost less than one GoodYear. I had never heard of Falken at that point, but I trusted DT, so I went with them. They turned out to be excellent tires: rode more quietly, grabbed better, was more puncture resistant —a key benefit when you don’t carry a spare, and lasted a lot longer than the GoodYears; all for less than half the cost. I was converted, but Falken remained relatively unknown.

Years later I saw Jeep Gladiator Rubicon made Falken Wildpeak its stock tire. It’s been a boon for Falken ever since. Falken Wildpeak is now considered equal to KO2, which says a lot.
That is quite the direction to go on a Black Friday post ;)

Hoping Redline Tuning does a Black Friday sale this year as I've waffled too long and have finally convinced myself I need these. ;)

Thank you, ordered a Skyliner. Was the main item I was planning to pick up before the end of the year.
