The Hothead Liners deal is a JOKE. 10% off is hardly what I'd call "Black Friday" type of deal.

Lol. We have a 2.5" lift and 33s on my wife's Sahara and she needs the stock side step to help her get in but she wanted something that can actually take a hit when we wheel, functions as a step and looks cool. Hence the ACE sliders. Since her Jeep is black the side seams what be so noticeable and eventually we can pickup Rubi rails t complete the look. She crunched those crappy stock side steps on a rock last week but only damaged the underside slightly.
I've got someone lined up to buy them for $150 when the ACE ones get here.
Check out these Go Rhino Dominator D6 Sliders that have a removable Drop Step I just ordered them, it allows you to remove the drop steps when you go off road and then have the function of the sliders with full clearance. My wife also has issues with getting in and out with the stock running board

Here is a thread about this https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/running-boards-what-is-the-consensus.18066/

Love em, I love that you could keep the stock rock rails on so it gives it a full complete look. I'm not a fan of the ones where you see the pinch rail. They also work great as a step. My whole family is short and I put 37s on with the mopar lift so it's needed lol.
How much of a step do they provide with rubi rails on? On ace website, it looks like the sliders are mostly covered and looks like two tubes. Can you post a pic looking down at your sliders?

This is the best picture I have right now, my jeep is gone for a couple days.

This is why I never buy anything during Oct-Dec. You will almost always get burned on the deals. Usually Mid November- Dec 24 you will find a better price.

Thanks. So I have to ask...do they protrude enough to step on? My wife is 5'7. She has to hop up and down from the jeep. Please, everyone hold their snarky comments, but as a daily driver it's concerning that she wears mid to high heals while doing it. While in the garage I heard this loud clop sound like she fell. It was simply her heals making the sound jumping down.

In my opinion yes. I'm only 5'7 and I have 37s and a lift, without them, ifI struggle to get on lol. My kids and wife also use them to step on to get in.

@ACE Engineering
If you discount a part that was bought in the last month at a higher price would you back honor that discount?
We work with customers on any items that haven't shipped to do our best to match prices. For items that have already shipped, that sale is final.

As for your order, you're in at an incredible price - you won't feel burned.

Thank you,

ACE
