I also need to install the following parts: MetalCloak steering stabilizer and FAD skid, a Steersmarts adjustable front track bar, Fox steering stabilizer (waiting for it to be delivered) and a Mountain Offroad (M.O.R.E.) gas tank skid (waiting for it to be delivered). As soon as the steering stabilizer and skid are delivered I'll be installing everything. Hopefully real soon!

The bed liner I sprayed on my rear bumper was started to come off.............even though I put several coats of it on, I believe I stood too far back when spraying it on. I wasn't happy with the way it looked so I decided to have the bumper powder coated. Now it looks awesome!

I removed the Mopar lift because I wanted to go bigger. I installed the 3.5 inch MetalCloak Game Changer lift with Rocksport shocks. It turned out awesome!

Here are some pics from an off-roading trip I lead for my club, NOVA Jeepers. Still had my Mopar lift installed at this time. Can't wait to go again with my MetalCloak lift installed!

Next I will be installing my Dana Spicer 1310 front drive shaft.

It may be several months, but I plan on purchasing a Steersmarts tie rod, Steersmarts drag link, and front & rear Bartact Mil-Spec seat covers.

I'm thinking about going with the game changer lift as well. looks like a quality lift. how far do your tires poke out? I don't want mine sticking out very far, they don't look like they do but I thought i'd ask.

thanks!

Hey, thanks! Yeah it's a great lift! My tires stick out about 1.5 inches. It's due to my wheels though. They have a 4.5 backspacing and -12 offset. You can find wheels that won't stick out much. Give Quadratec or Northridge 4x4 a call and they can tell you which wheels to buy. Both of them offer discounts too. PM me if you need their discount codes/information.

The MC lift feels a lot more stable. The Mopar lift needed additional parts to make it ride better. Where as the MC Game Changer lift includes everything you need!

Digging that CB mount - must be easier then running all the way from the back.
Thanks! I like being different...........not many people mount it in the front. People will say it's a terrible location for off-roading. It's not true at all. I rarely hit it on any branches and if I do, it has a spring on it. And like you said, it's much easier to run the coax cable.

I would think the most important thing would be to be above the roof line - other then that dont think it would really matter where you mount it - haters gonna hate lol
