Every 4x4 SUV of all time has basically the same two-box shape, with minor variations.

I'm interested in the Bronco because it could potentially offer a manual transmission coupled with a good turbo engine (the 2.3L, or please Dear Lord Baby Jesus, the 2.7L in a Raptor version).

I am seeing pictures of these two vehicles and they both have that same boxy look. Maybe I need some alcohol to see clearly.
If you’ve seen a picture of the Bronco, you know better than any of us since that means you are helping design or build it.

Ford owns Land Rover now right? When i heard announcements of new Defender and then new Bronco a few years ago I assumed they were sister vehicles.

I hope not but it makes sense.

I think the better question is, what is the new Defender a cheap knock-off of? A Kia? It's certainly not a knock-off of its own legacy.

Yeah, talk about a joke. They got everything exactly wrong with that albatross.

crossover/minivan chassis
Soft curves
Independent front and rear suspension on airbags
Wider than a raptor - bad for trails
Dorky droopy eyed looks

what a bomb. I think this is the end of jlr- bankruptcy incoming. Then someone will buy and vow to “return to the roots”

hey "my man" cool, thx for the info. I am into Jeeps and cars so I don't follow Ford closely. All of the new Land Rovers etc look liek Fords so I thought they were still related.
