Yesterday I ran some trails in Death Valley National Park in preparation for this week’s Cal4Wheel Panamint. Valley Days event. We ran Hunter Mountain, Hidden Valley, Lost Burro Mine, The Racetrack, Lippencott Road and Saline Valley Road. Of course, I aired down. Today, I received an urgent email from FCA.

If this is your first time being registered with Mopar then it’s normal. There’s regular weekly or monthly reports and then there’s stuff like codes or tpms etc etc that alerts you

Yep happens every time you air down. Just in case you never look at your tires or dash when you drive. But they do expect you to check your email ever 10 minutes. Millennials! Or Mall Cruisers!

Seriously I've been getting these for over two years. I thought they would go away when the free monitoring subscription but Nooo, they just keep on sending the damn things. Did they really expect us drive in the desert with 36psi? Should automatically go away with 4 low.

I get that all the time.
once a MONTH I get notified that I had low tire pressure (At some point in the prior MONTH). Needless to say, it’s about as helpful as a corkscrew in the eye.

Normal every time you air down. I get the alert on my phone before I even get to the trail. I’m not aware of any simple way to get them to go away.

Nope, it's part of the UConnect service independent of your cell phone. The Jeep has a modem and can communicate with the UConnect server while your subscription is active.

It will notify you if your vehicle gets below 1/8 of a tank of gas too.

I got a notice from SiriusXM Guardian that my free 1-year trial ended yesterday. Hopefully that means an end to these stupid alerts, too.

I also get an alert regarding a recall that doesn’t apply to my Jeep that the dealership folks are unable to stop. I asked them if they’d just put into the system that they performed the recall so I’d stop getting alerts. Either it didn’t work or more likely they didn’t actually do it because they don’t care.
