I contacted BFG customer service. They had no information on the new tire, none. Put me on "hold" and then came back and asked me why I thought there was a KO3. I sent them a link to the GMC site and they said, huh I dunno, never heard of such a thing.

Those geolanders are the only other tires I've considered in the past 10 years on an offroad vehicle. Folks seem to love em but after TEARING up trails with toyos and nittos I'd have to see those tires after 30k HARD miles to switch

spending 2k on tires bi-annually is a big deal and I KNOW I can depend on toyo/nitto

Looks like they are making their way out into the wilds.
Is it just my imagination or does the siping look a lot deeper or more pronounced than on the K02?

Not sure if they'll add any sizes, but kinda hoping for a narrow, lightweight 34" in a C or D load. Basically something a true 1" taller and around the same width as the stock Rubi 285/70R17 K02. Their 285/75 (34x11.5) K02 seems like a good size for stock suspension, but the E rating seems a bit stiff for a 2-door (and about 10lbs heavier).

They already have a KO2 in 34x10.5R17, load D. The BFG marketing material back in the day explained that they designed the size specifically for Wranglers.

Was looking at that size earlier and iirc, it was only 33.5" for some reason, not the 34" of the 285/75. Almost identical to the OEM 285/70 from pics I've seen here.

Guess it wouldn't be the first time that somebody ever over-exaggerated an extra half an inch 😁
