Honestly I'd be fine if Bestop just focused on tops and got out of the silly flares and bumpers business. If they really wanted to make an impact they could spread their wings into the hardtop market. To me that makes more sense than monkeying with bumpers and fender flares.

They take forever to get anything through R&D and produced. They have been working on the JL hardtop for a couple of years. I checked out the prototype at SEMA and it was really cool! No idea why they can't move quicker. Same with producing the CORE doors for the JL, because they are sitting on overstock in unsold JK doors they are too scared to make the JL doors. How about not ordering 3,000 sets at a time???

I received my rear fender liners yesterday, installed today. It went well except I wish their bolts were a bit longer.
I'm very happy with them.

I ordered the roof rack last Saturday (3 Feb). It arrived yesterday (Thursday, 8 Feb). OMG the box is heavy! Haven't had a chance to open it yet - will do on one of my days off next week.

My rack arrived Thursday. Just opened it this evening.

I'm on the hunt for a fairing. Was thinking of going with the Yakima Windshield. The rack is 56.5" wide, and the width at the inner radius (the corners are curved) is 46". I'm thinking the 52" fairing is better to get than the 46"... I guess covering more of the width should make it quieter. But I don't know if the ratchet straps will fit without hitting that inner radius. Anyone try it?

I got my liners and fenders on Thursday. It's been raining so I hope I can install them soon.

I got mine Thursday and just installed it today. I did a test drive to Sam’s, which was like a 40min drive. The wind noise over powers my 392 w/ it Atak exhaust open…at 55mph! It sounds like deep growling and you could feel the resistance. At 60-80mph it was horrible, even with music playing loudly! I came back and added the $70 Amazon wind fairing which DRASTICALLY reduced the noise. It decreased probably by 80%. I didn’t added the “Bestop” Logo brackets, there are no other logos on the rack.

Installed mine the other day. As expected, noisy. Need a faring for the front.

This rack comes with side plates that nobody's using. And it comes with four light mounting brackets.

So I put all four light brackets up front, and bent the tabs on the side plates. Then I mounted the side plate up front as a faring. It helped with the noise some. But the faring isn't solid, it has a screen in it.

I bought some tin yesterday at Home Depot. I'll trim the tin to put behind the screen and "B" and well see how that helps. Four button head 3/8" bolts and locking nuts were like $7.50 (I already had 20 washers in my washer bin), and the 24" x 12" piece of thin tin was like $22 at HD .

Hate that I missed a good sale, at $200, I'd take a chance on a noisy rack that I could mod to get it quiet. At $500, not so sure anymore. @Bestop are y'all dropping all the Granite line? Are you sold out?
