PIcture of sticker? If it's just vinyl, let it sit in direct sunlight for an hour or so, then pick the edge up with you fingernail or something like a plastic razor blade, then peel slow and with even pressure. Remove the residual glue with some WD40, Goof Off or alcohol. Use a little wax on the area you put the chemicals on afterward.

Heat gun or hair dryer on low setting. Sweeping motion back and forth until it gets loose. Don’t just hold it stationary. Shouldn’t take more than a minute or 2. Then just peel it off and use goof off to remove residual.

That will come right off after you lift an edge, just pull it slow. And damn, what an ugly sticker! No wonder you want it gone.

@Kurt0

Not a "hot, hot" hair dryer , but back and forth onthe sticker with a hairdryer.... and then, immediately, carefully, lift up the edge of the sticker, grab the lifted edge and pull/peel it off.

IF, there is any residue just some hand sanitizer (readily available) 8-) or rubbing alcohol, it will, undoubtedly get that residue off.

When done with the deed, wax that area.

Appreciate this thread. Don't think it's right for dealers to sell you a vehicle and then expect you to advertise for them.

I remove all stickers, license plate frames etc.

I always request upon purchase that there be no dealer stickers of any kind on my vehicle. I'm okay with the plastic license plates but that's it.

I'd really think in this day and age that dealers would be smart enough to not clutter up people's vehicles with these things.

What most people don't really know is that it isn't usually the dealer that applies these decals/badges. The majority of the time they are added as part of the prep/inspection at the port prior to the vehicle getting loaded onto a rail car or truck for delivery to the dealership. I have a friend who does this as part of his job.

Looks great!

Some of the local dealers here even have their own emblems, not just decals.

At least it’s better than cars you see from the early 80s and older that had chrome dealer emblems screwed or pop riveted to the sides of the front fenders or on the trunk lid.

My Jeep came with one, as I was so excited and missed it!! An hour in the sun and it peeled off!
However, as you say, to me it’s a condition of the sale, if you do a good job I’ll tell people about you. We once bought an Infiniti, and in between test driving and taking delivery, while signing the paperwork, they added their sticker as a part of the delivery prep. Much to their surprise (after I had made it clear to the sales guy) I made them take it back to the detail area and remove their sticker before I would take delivery of it.
