Got caught for an extended period of time in an unexpected rainstorm with the top and doors off. We live on the gulf coast where it’s normally very humid but it’s also raining or threatening rain for the next several days so just pulling it outside and letting nature take care of it isn’t an option. Suggestions? I have Diver Down neoprene covers over cloth seats and of course still have my carpet. We ran the Shop-Vac across the seats and that helped a lot but wondering about the carpet and nooks and crannies.

Park it in the heat with the windows open - should dry it out pretty quickly.

The Diver Down covers *should* have captured most of the water and prevented it from getting to the actual seats but it might not be a bad idea to remove one to check. If water got through the seat covers, I'd remove them so the actual seats can dry out, as well.

My Jeep got rained on pretty good with the doors and top off today. I took the long way home and let it dry out. Hour later it was pretty dry and I didn’t wipe up anything except for the cup holders. I’ll let it sit out in the sun tomorrow, hopefully it doesn’t rain again…

I have leather seats and rubber mats, so that helped.

Pull the drain plugs if there is still standing water in the tubs and then remove the carpet (it comes out easily) to let it dry or prop some fans under the carpet.

I"d park it in the garage and throw a fan in it.

There was water standing we did do that. Didn’t realize the carpet would come out easily. Is that true in the rear, too?

Unfortunately we have had almost NO sun since this happened with none in the forecast, either. I wanted to take it out this afternoon and just drive around the county with everything open but it’s stormed all day.

i call mine a savanah top , i dont know why lol
at least it will keep alot of water off you and keep the sun off you and the interior and still feel as if its fully open

I have one! This was just a freak thing - we had the doors and windows off but had actually put the soft top up safari-style because it looked like there might be a shower. Not a shower! Torrential downpour with the wind blowing the rain sideways. My closed console had water standing in the bottom, presumably because it blew in through the tiny cable hole?

Get engine up to operating temperature, then park it with full heat and full AC on, of course you will need top and doors on. Do this for 1/2 hour a couple of times.

Rain forecast all week ? I do have the all-weather mats, and I’m so glad I do!
