Best way to clean the frame?

I took a trip to lazy springs a couple of weeks ago, have a few spots where I’m going to spray rust stop and spray it black again, but I’m wondering how to clean the dirt off of it before I spray anything over it. Once I clean and spray it I’ll spray fluid film around it.

I’d use a power washer. Some use a sprinkler and put it under the Jeep and let it run for a while.

Also, stick a hose into every hole you can find to try to rinse salt out of the frame.

Hi,

Best way pressure washer on a 4 post lift, second best pull the vehicle on a trailer and pressure wash, third as mentioned sprinkler along with pressure washer.

Can also drive it up on ramps and pressure wash it. That is my method and it works well.

No access to a pressure washer but I’m going to try the garden hose again in my complex and see what happens. Would a foam gun with soap also help get some of the sand/dirt off?

Might worth a try at a touch less car wash, that does undercarriage wash, regular car wash might have it also if you don't mind the rollers touching the paint

I haven't been to a car wash in over a decade, but I think I remember seeing under car wash or something along those lines.
